FyreWyre™ is basically a copper core wire with electrolumenscent coating applied to it. One very thin wire is wrapped around the core, covered with a protective outer layer. The wire operates on "AC" (Alternating Current), and AC/DC converters are also available. When proper voltage and frequency are applied, the wire exhibits an illuminescent glow.
FyreWyre™ and its components’ functions are similar to basic battery operated electrical components, having their voltage and frequency requirements and limitations. Many variables apply to the finished design of any product using FyreWyre™ components: wire length, number of wires, and the preference of brightness. Literature will be provided with each order specifying these limitations and suggested applications.
FyreWyre™ is currently available in 22 colors and varieties. FyreWyre™ emits light in a 360° radius. The wire is a flexible and a reusable product. It can be used in varying lengths and generally comes in 2 diameters: 2.3 & 3.2 mm. The "Double Wire" is a third variety of FyreWyre™. “Double Wire” has 2 wires extruded into one outer layer giving twice the original brightness. Other diameters are available for custom orders.
